This project is all about the people of Makoko Stilted Fishing Village that is situated on the Lagoon in Lagos, Nigeria. The people of Makoko are predominantly "Egun" a mainly French speaking Tribe hailing from Badagry, the old slave Town in Nigeria and the Benin Republic. To most folk the village looks like a deprived area however you would be hard pushed to see hungry or unhappy people there. Comfortable only living on the water very few leave to take up residence on land.
