Jumjoji, The Parsi Diner

Jumjoji
The Parsi Diner
This is hands down the most insane project I ever worked on. For starters, we were paid in Blue Label. 2 bottles of it. Both of which were downed by Zarvan and Shahan, the two resident Parsis at ideas@work through whose proxy the rest of us achieved creative immortality.

The year was 2012, the month January, and Jumjoji was about to become Mumbai's most talked about (and fucking expensive) Parsi restaurant.

I could say I got more pleasure from writing this, but truth is, I had more fun watching the announcer at the Goafest 2013 awards hold his tongue every time Zarvan's 'Sue Us B**chod' ad won, because everytime he said "...and the silver abby goes to ideas@work for Freddy, Sue us...", the crowd was kind enough to bellow "BENCHOD!!!".

We never in our lives imagined winning 14 metal on that campaign alone.

Towards the end of the night even we were tired of going up on stage. Piyush sure missed a good show.
Silver Abby Winner at the Goafest Awards 2013 - Print Craft, Copywriting Above 100 Words
Something for patrons to read while waiting for the next available table. NDTV Profit took a particular interest in this poster, before going on to rave about the food which I must admit is nothing to rave about. If you're the kind to take the linkbait, here's where the video is. Warning, it's 8 minutes long, and boring as hell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjCc70kHnwE

Bronze Abby Winner at the Goafest Awards 2013 - Environment Design
That's right, two awards. I should get one just for knowing my categories.

This was the result of Zarvan walking into the room one evening and saying Dominic! A sperm donor drive at the restaurant!! Ratan Tata! Adi Godrej! Our numbers are down! They'll understand! We'll call Shiamak!
If you loved this, you'd've creamed to see the original copy.
You know what, I'm just going to put it up. Below. Enjoy.
Enough said
