An Ex voto is a object or a symbol used in order to accomplish a wish or to say thanks. Sailors would use them to thank the sea for being quiet and calm.
Pour ce projet, j'ai voulu faire un ex voto destiné à mes parents. Il est parfois difficile de dire merci aux personnes qui nous sont chères, c'est pourquoi j'ai utilisé ce moyen pour remercier mes parents de tout le bon qu'ils m'ont apportés et qu'ils continuent de m'apporter dans ma vie. J'ai donc réalisé une suite d'illustrations avec une phrase de remerciement.
For that project, I wanted to make an ex voto dedicated to my parents. Sometimes, it's difficult to say thank to the people you love and that's why I used that way to thank my parents for all the good they brought and continue to bring in my life. I decided to make illustrations with a thankful note.
