Museum of Contemporary Art Vojvodina

This is a rejected design concept for Museum of Contemporary Art in Novi Sad, done as a proposal for competition organized by the Museum. The logo concept is based on points which indicate space, but there are no limits to it. The design of the sign is a paraphrase of the Kanizsa illusory contours which he popularized it in 1976 using a system of points with subtracted segments that in a certain order create a perception of geometric shapes. Dots represent space pointers only, while it is up to the observer to spot and define the space. In this case, a square is seen between dots as one of the typical shapes that describe work, format and image regarding a place to exhibit in the showroom.
