This set of watercolors is my tribute to the ambiguous and wonderful swirl of sensations and overall sensitivity that music brings about and within. Since forever, songs and melodies have picked me up by the collar and flew me to places, magical or "ordinary", where a very distinct mood reigns, and it always made an impact on me and the way I felt, thought and behaved. That atmopshere, the feel that all of a sudden sprang up because of some chords or a combination of instruments, in my mind I translate into colors almost immediately, as if this cloud (or clarity, for that matter) suddenly surrounds me, and even though it is abstract and invisible, I can make out the colors that make it up. All of which contributes to the mood.
So here's to the bizarre and amazing power that is music. Cheers.
