This is an India specific poster campaign to create awareness of increasing air pollution levels in our country. In India, there are millions of gods representing various qualities or purposes in life, but none for clean air! The aim of this campaign is to make people question the practice of putting their faith blindly, and rather lazily in our gods, for everything. And to realize that rather than waiting for god, there are some matters that need to be taken into our own hands—like air pollution.
These are three A1 posters, using typography and colour to create a visual hierarchy for the written material. Each of these headlines is meant to be sarcastic in order to make the reader question the public response for air pollution mitigation. Along with each headline is a fact about air pollution in the country and the hashtag—#Fightforcleanair. A hypothetical organization called PROJECTBREATHE.ORG has also been created for this campaign to add value to it. This was a class assignment.
