TENEBRISM 25
Tenebrism is a dramatic illuminating technique with using of light-shadow in two-dimensional paintings, created by Baroque-era artist Michelangelo Caravaggio in the late 16th century. Some of the parts are achieved with intense illumination while some parts are keeping completely dark to create a pure dramatic effect on composition. All the drawings are based on the faces of 25 people of my friends. The key points in the selection are harsh, quiet, dark and sad facial expressions.
