Phosphor Prints series 05 - Bandi
Our fifth series is really personal. It's about Bandi, who was my grandfather. He was very special for me. I grabbed 5 memorable moments from his life, that I really loved about him.
He lived in Budapest yet he liked walking in the big city instead of using car or public transportation to collect stories from the street. When he arrived at the end of the day, he always had a good story to tell to his family with a good sense of humour.
He always loved his plants, he cared about them a lot. He used to collect rain-water and watered the plants with it.
He used to plant a tree after all of his grandchildren's born. He had several grandchildren, because they are a patchwork family.
He had a lot of friends from around the world. They used to correspond with each other. He is excitedly waiting his homing pigeon with a brand new letter.
He used to buy raw materials on the nearby market to cook for his friends and eat together big meals.
