A typography project to deliver 3 postcards in series for the Summer 2010 Stern Grove Festival, with the goal of visually communicating the festival and the types of music performed.

 

I visually communicated the event through using block elements, which formed music visualizers that would convey the rhythm of the music played.  This visualizer could also be perceived as foliage to communicate that the event is an outdoor event, as well could communicate silhouette of skyscrapers as the event is located in the city of San Francisco. Colors, elements and typefaces were highly considered and carefully decided to minimally, yet elegantly announce the event.
