The idea was to create a sculpted piece in this shallow area.

The mesh pattern is a small version of the grill mesh.

The idea was to create a 3 dimensional mesh pattern which would emphasise the width of the car. The little hexagons are overlapping and create some depth.

The chamfered surface surface is angled in order to catch the light and create this dynamic pattern.
