Wendy and Wally
This booklet was developed to be handled at Hacker Hustle, a racing event directed at IT professionals and their families.
As the event objective is to share information and educate the public on the importance of data security, WatchGuard (one of the companies sponsoring the event) saw an opportunity to connect with the families of prospects by offering a cyber-ranger booklet to the children.
To create the characters, I went after references of current, popular cartoons, such as SpongeBob, Gravity Falls and Steven Universe, as to achieve an appealing and familiar visual. I also wanted to put them in situations that would allow me to show their personalities, making them more charismatic and relatable.
