I had the chance to take part into this wonderful trip thanks to amazing people. We traveled with passionate couples and friends who were all ready for the adventure with some Land Rover Defender, Mercedes Unimog and others. All the cars were equiped and prepared by RRConcept, which is a french company specialized in preparing cars (especially Defenders and Unimog) for off-road driving and living. In the middle of those wild beasts we rented a small Suzuki Jimny for 2 weeks, which became our loyal steed for the trip. It appeared to be surprisingly very capable and, in some circumstances, even more suitable than big heavy vehicles.

Here is the itinerary we took during 2 weeks. We mainly visited the west side of Iceland, as we didn't have enough time to go all around. You will see more clearly our daily route in this project, which I tried to reproduce as accurately as possible, working with google maps and all kind of maps of Iceland I could find !
