At TIDE i was responsible for creating several marketing videos, to spruce up the videos I created a logo reveal for each of our brands.

For the Geodesys I took our 2d logo and tried to make a 3d interpretation that would look like a paper cutout folding in.

I first recreated the house shape in blender and applied some emission materials for the flat colours, then separated the faces and added a key frame for their final position and another for their flat position. After I animated each face, I duplicated them, converted them to paths and made pipe shapes along the edges for the outline effect.

The last stage in 3d was to add the camera movements, play about with the timing and render it. The text was added in after effects.
