The diversity of a land brings itself out in local topical flavours. The idea of the divine needs to be expressed through an idea of the man or the human. In my project 9 days of Devi, I explored the idea of how we see the goddess seen as the mother and source of power, strength and happiness, in various lands across India. From the rural to the refined, from the ancient to the modern, from the family and community to the yogic and tantric. 
My findings and experience was very inspiring, very meditative and very spectacular. Again, I did soon to make replicas of original idols only touch them through a process of detailing. 
Hope to get back to the same project next year same time and explore an even more diverse plethora visuals that lie in the nooks and corners of India.
