Overview
Working closely with the VP of eCommerce & Online Merchandising and the UX Manager, I worked on the 2011 subcategory page design of Kichler Superstore, an internet retailer of lighting fixtures manufactured by Kichler. With the given user and business goals, I created several ideations and comps from the wireframes to the web design. Together with the team, we refined a design option that best succeeded the all the goals in its correct priorities.
To achieve the user goals of being able to navigate through various products, a few features which were implemented included attribute-based filtering, product quick view, category tool tip and product comparison.

Product Quick View Feature to provide shoppers with a little more information on the category page level.
Tool Tip feature to provide shoppers with more information about each category while shoppers begin to refine their search.
