Cigarette is the only consumer product when consumed with any intention, kills half of its regular consumers. Smoking a cigarette is a vehicle designed to deliver in an acceptable and attractive form for delivery of nicotine. Cigarette smoke contains harmful chemicals such as Aldehydes, nitric oxide quinoline, pyridine catechol that causes cancer.
Consuming poison and any chemicals that lead to cancer means attempting suicideÖ
I myself am trying approach my audience by giving them a unique experience through the illustrative book of ìRuling Stickî.
Current situation -
There are many people who got addicted to cigarettes and also want to start or try cigarettes for fun. This book will help all of them not to quit but to understand what happen to us from smoking. Nowhere in this publication would ask the audience to stop smoking or donít try to smoke, because after going through this book if someone continues, that mean they donít care about themselves or their surroundings.
Situation Analysis -
Background information about the project:
There are many people who got addicted to cigarettes and also want to start or try cigarettes for fun.
Main reason for initiating this project:
People make excuse to create a situation where they can smoke peacefully because they THINK that they are addicted in reality, which is not true. The problem is that they donít know it is all their minds that say you are addicted.
"I am getting fed up with my addiction to smoking. The discomfort that it generates, along with my thinking about people around me, especially those who truly love me and care for me, makes me feel that I should quit Smoking. But the issue is, Stopping the habit also generates a fearful discomfort especially the fear of loosing my comfort zone." Akila Mahagedara 28th November 2012
In this publication I'm not asking anybody to quit or start smoking but to understand what it is.
