Watercolor studies completed between June and August, 2012.
 

I spent the summer working in North Carolina. Although I made this sketchbook two years prior, I only started using it actively this summer. The moth and deer mouse were collected at the warehouse where I was working and painted on the front porch while the relatives were away. The jewelweed and fence lizard were painted and drawn on location, the jewelweed at the side of the road and at my marsh in Georgia during the  last week I was home.
