The Tree Lamp
This project was inspired by some of the pieces at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2017, which combined concrete and metal for contemporary lamps and lighting fixtures. The Tree lamp derives from a minimalist representation of a tree on two dimensional surface. This form is used as the design of the lamp which sandwiched a light panel between two such surfaces made of MDF. The entire assembly is bolted on to a concrete base. The sandwiched light part is made up of a continuous strip of white acrylic diffuser which encloses a LED light strip.
