I find drawing houses to be the most calming sessions of all the practice, because that's when I don't look at my work so critically and be so conscious about going wrong with the anatomy. It is that area of drawing where I set myself free, free to go against the norms, play with the perspectives and just concentrate on getting the light and shadows right.

On my visit to Bhutan, our group got to spend a night in the remote villages of Wangkha. The natives who invited us bag-packers, were amazingly polite and happy people. The time spent at their house will always remain as a beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime moment for me.
