The Great Smoky Mountains - Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
In September of 2018, we headed to The Great Smoky Mountains to spend our honeymoon...mountains and moonshine! (What could be better!?) Anyone who lives in the North East United States, knows how miserable a summer we had, almost non-stop rain, flooding, and terrible humidity. This journey was no different, as we were unable to escape all of the above. While we were fortunate to have a few breaks of sun, we were unable to make our way to the National Park and really enjoy and explore all that this incredible mountain range has to offer. All of these pictures were taken from the deck of our cabin, and our time spend in downtown Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, along with a couple trail rides on horseback and a visit to a bird sanctuary. We certainly hope the next trip will provide us with better weather!
