For this segment, I chose some footage from my back catalogue of a car driving down a bumpy road on French Island. I chose this particular video to use as it has a natural three-dimensionality to it. I then turned it into an anaglyph by duplicating the footage and creating a red and cyan channel, then blending the two layers together in ‘screen mode’ so both were visible.

The footage I used was filmed in a tight space with many branches flying past the camera, so I had to create a more significant parallax effect in order to exaggerate the video’s depth.
