Waiting for Godot, mechanic sculpture (scrap parts, metal, polyester), 17x33x20cm.
“Waiting for Godot” is a mechanical hand that taps with fingers. The finger-tapping movement itself is an absurd from which the only reading is that nothing is currently happening and that we are waiting for something that may happen in the future, it is almost certain that it will not, because in fact we do not know what we are waiting for, or what we are waiting for cannot come just, we need to activate and do something. Linking these sculptures to Beckett's drama is to draw attention to the timelesness of the phenomenon of waiting in vain. Who is Godo? Does he exist at all? Is it worth the wait?

Da li on uopšte postoji? I da li je vredan čekanja?
