Inspired by the story of Gilgamesh and the small segment where the snake takes Gilgamesh's plant, the secret to the everlasting life. What if Gilgamesh ate the plant? Would humans become capable of shedding skin and be reborn every time?
Why do we want to reborn?
Have we not been already shedding off?
만약 이야기 속 영생의 풀을 인간이 먹었다면, 우리는 지금 뱀처럼 허물을 벗으며 계속 새로 태어나는 존재일까? 우리는 탈피하고 있지 않는가? 죄를 짓고 씻어내고 잊어내고 새로이, 또 새로이, 살고싶어하는 인간에게만 이기심이라는 못난 단어가 따라붙는데, 우리 중 그 누가 다른이를 온전히 비난할 수 있을까? 결국 우리도 인간인걸.
