But the naive creator, apart from not putting into play a technique learned from other artists, expresses itself with inaccuracies in the drawing, clumsiness in color and with very little or no interest in the similarity of his figures with reality. As his universe is directly linked to his own experiences and his knowledge of things, the naive artist of greater gifts is usually the one who uses his art to tell personal stories, legends or anecdotes, and, in general, to explain his experience of a poetic mode that captivates by its freshness, warmth or innocence.
