Transportation Impacts & Value of Parklets

"From Parking to Park: Transportation Impacts & Value of Parklets" highlights research I conducted for Dan Chatman's Transportation & Land Use Planning class.  My research explores the value of parklets compared to parking spaces, and the impacts of parklets on pedestrian and vehicular travel.

I prepared this poster for the annual College of Environmental Design Circus event.  This was the first research poster I made, and it won a student award!  In recognition of my work, I was invited to the Circus Soiree with Robert Hammond of High Line fame.

This June, I spoke about my research at the Congress for New Urbanism in Salt Lake City.  My paper can be found here.
