The Cerner Ambulatory group came to Creative Services looking to develop a video that would showcase the easy to use, and very powerful PowerChartTouch application. Instead of simply listing benefits of the application we decided to focus on a few key functions that made PCT stand out. Working with the Brand team and the Ambulatory group we were able to show the power of the application, while making the video exciting.
At first we took a stab at a variety of graphic/animation styles for the video. Various styles ranged from a more conservative branded look to a very dynamic 3D look.
The storyboarding process was a great collaborative process between the Ambulatory group and myself. This was especially important as we tackled concerns of showing launch functions and the future vision in the app.
