ABOUT ANTS
Hello you guy!!! Thank you so much for having a look to my project.
This is a project that I did at school, it took me a month to complete
and I hope you guys will like it or if you have some suggestions feel free to let me know.
This project is an illustration of part of a book about Japanese youkai,
by a Greek writer but he came to Japan to live, work and die here,
Lafcadio Hearn. I am very interested in this topic, mystical beings and micro-gods dominate and protect people, but there are also species that endanger humans. That's why I like this book and choose it to illustrate.
But because of the size of the project and the time it took for the paper to finish, I quoted only part of the book. and the main theme of the story I draw is about ants, a tiny, weak, but extraordinary and mysterious species
This story is actually an oral story of China, and it is transmitted to Japan. When Hearn collects psychic stories to write books, he notices that
there is an ant nest in his garden and he remembers the Chinese story he heard, and then he started the story and analyzed the species. the ant is deeper, more clear.
This is a brief introduction page of Lafcadio Hearn
and his book "The Monster and Yokai of Japan"
The prayer begins when he sees the ant nest in his garden
and remembers the oral story from China.
He carefully observes each action and
the way they communicate with each other

He then began to lead the story.
There was a Chinese, he worshiped a god (in China they would call a fairy), he was very devoted to that god, never did anything illegal and always prayed before that god.
One day, a woman came up in front of him giving off a fanciful light
and gave him a box, a gift for his loyalty and dedication.
She told him to apply the contents of the box to his ears
and he would be surprised at what he heard.
After the god disappeared, he opened the box and smeared the contents of the box with his ear just as he had been told. Then he ran around the house and saw two ants talking to each other. He put his ears to his ear and discovered that the ants were talking to each other about a treasure buried under their nest.
He rushed to dig them up and found the treasure. He then became extremely wealthy but then he lost that wonderful ability again. Then he regretted showing the ants down and broke down their nests
This is a can paper. it help me a lot to make more effects for my book.
There are 4 can paper, each page will have one part of the ant and when it is put together, it will show a completed ant.
I really like this part of my book.
And this is a table of contents.

Finally is the end of the book.
I was inspired by the ancient Japanese painting, the expression of the face and the textures painted on the face are very unique. This layout will represent the verbal nature of the story I choose

There are mising some pages because I losted my pop up files so I can't so you guy a complete story, really sorry!!!

Hope you enjoy this, Thanks for watching! See you at my next projects.
