"Authors In Action" 2013
This is a piece I created for a good friend of mine who was holding a reading event at our alma mater with alumni authors. I had little to work with outside of, authors reading so after getting a thumbnail approved I went ahead with this straightforward illustration.

This is my version of the flower I created. It is different from the commission I was paid to create because I liked the original colors and use of black better.
"Watercolor Poppy Tattoo" 2013
This was a commissioned piece of art (for a tattoo) that I was asked to create in the style of watercolor tattoos. My subject was to be a poppy flower and I was to use psychadelic colors and a spiral. The galaxy motif seemed to fit nicely in the center and help the other high-contrasting hues fall into place.
