Anti-Piracy Campaign

BRIEF
In recent years, piracy and illegal streaming of movies have shown to be increasing in the United States. The negative effects of this trend have been felt not only at the box office, but throughout the economy, including many theatrical, mixed-media, and distribution industries. Create a campaign in order to raise awareness about these effects and promote action, in an attempt to tame what has become a rampant infringement of copyright.
SOLUTION
Research was an extremely large component of this study. Since the illegal downloading of motion pictures is a relatively new issue, and resources with information are limited, it was necessary to conduct a survey including over one-hundred participants that displayed demographic diversity (gender, age, race, employment, location). The research was analyzed, then applied to various graphic models. The information graphics include clear typography, a meaningful color palette, and elements reminiscent of both the film industry and digital technology. They are presented in various settings in order to best inform the target audience (workers being affected, illegal downloaders, and average moviegoers) of this rising issue.
