WO(MEN) is a typographically driven publication and poster focusing on the women inequalities.

This publication features six influential and powerful figures who have all challenged the traditional female role, collectively contributing to the empowerment of women all over the world since the 1900’s.
Separated into the four waves of feminism, these speeches showcase the transformations and the developments of the women’s rights movement throughout history.
(WO)MEN takes the form of suffragette style protest banners from the early 1900’s. The use of one colour is inspired by Mary Lowndes, creator of the Artists Suffrage League in 1907, who stated that using the colour red on banner is a representation of courage. The series of designs aims to use the power of graphic design to make a difference. Design to agitate, educate, and inspire an audience.
To all those who have and continue to fight for women’s rights, thank you.
