After analyzing several of the works of the referent artists (Van Gogh and Mart Stam), a main concept was extracted as is the idea of opposites, abstracting from them the existing relationship between the occupied and the empty, what there and what not. This was sought to lead to the designed piece. 

Additionally, it was decided to make a chair since in the works analyzed, rigidity and
structurality were also abstracted, being a chair the best way to transmit this.
