Dr. Oetker Muesli Repackaging

The aim of this project is to simplify the design of “Vitalis Knuspermüsli Schoko”.
By altering the colors and adding some texture to the box, I wanted to make the brand stand out on the counter along all other brands of cereal. Due to the organic boom in the recent years, the end user is more conscious of the ingredient list and values highly all-natural ingredients that are also high in fiber. Therefore, the new design will speak out better to the target audience and possibly bring new customer groups to the brand*.

One of my main concerns regarding the design is that it can be perceived as a copycat product or grocety store own brand. After the research of the muesli market, it became clear that the positioning of Dr. Oetker on the shelving space would clearly differentiate it from the grocery store own brand/ cheaper alternatives.
