Medieval and Renaissance musical group
As my longest-standing client, I have worked on numerous creative design projects for the Toronto Consort and we have developed an excellent relationship based on mutual respect and trust.
The Toronto Consort is a Medieval and Renaissance musical group with a long history of performing in Toronto. This year mark’s their 40th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone they approached me to develop their subscription brochure and a Globe and Mail ad campaign. Knowing the ensemble well, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to showcase each musician’s unique personality. Capturing photos of each player and aligning them in a “Brady Bunch” style grid, their distinctive personalities came alive. I added typography that felt historical but also contemporary and choose a rich ruby colour for the background to denote the 40thanniversary.
After more than 15 years of working together, the Consort makes history as my longest-running and definitely most musical client.
