This shortfilm is the result of a really fun collaboration with Pim van den Heuvel, where we had the chance to create a space to play and experiment with design, music and animation. This collaboration was done in our free time over the last year, so we are really happy to finally release it out into the world. We hope you enjoy it!
Inspiration
I always found ancient tribes super interesting and beautiful, especially their rituals, clothes, masks and body-painting. For this particular project I also found inspiration in still nature photography, the art of Moebius and symbolic geometry.

I was looking for a very dark, mysterious, enigmatic and colorful mood for this movie, I also wanted to add more cinematography to my compositions, so I did a lot of research of photography, paintings and illustrations that I like. I found awesome references in the work of Francisco de Goya, Rafael Mayani, Benoit Paillé, Øystein Sture Aspelund and some other amazing artists that I'm probably forgetting!
