Countries such as Thailand, Korea, China, and Japan use transliteration for foreign brands whenever applicable. It's a practice in countries prioritizing their local languages with distinct writing system. At the same time, learning Baybayin triggers a lot of what-ifs in mind. What if we're still using it to jot down daily notes at work or school? What if we're using it on our phones? What if we're watching TV with all the texts on screen in full Baybayin?
