THE EASTERN
Ballarat Live Music Venue

The Venue approached me to collaborate with artist George Hollick on a new logo design. The finished work pays tribute to the building's historic nature with early 20th Century typography and flourish.

The branding was launched with a Poster promoting the venue's 1st Birthday
Celebrations. Prime considerations were Legibility and Style, while subtly
and elegantly reinforcing the venue's main revenue stream - Beer.

Inspiration was drawn from Ballarat Bertie and 1930's Art Nouveau.

The finished work is A2 (420*594mm) in size, and a 3 colour print job utilising Gold & Silver Metallics along with Black.

It is optimised for Digital Offset Prints and Manual Screenprinting.
