SCIO - a wearable device that supersedes all documents

SCIO —
a wearable device that supersedes all documents
This project was the entry to Red Dot: Design Concept 2019
We have numerous documents issued by the government. It is a disaster when you need such documents within reach, but you have forgotten them at home or even lost them. SCIO is designed to tackle this problem. It's a wearable device that supersedes all documents.

The SCIO system comprises three elements: the bracelet, the government-driven storage, and a companion toolset for authorized agents.
The bracelet has a set of built-in RGB LEDs, NFC, Touch ID, a microphone inside. Data from your passport card, passport book, driver's license, various IDs, medical insurance, blood type & Rh factor are encrypted and stored in government-driven storage.
Data access is two-factored. Firstly, you confirm your identity via biometric powered by a facial recognition technology. Next, the authorized SCIO agent inquires access to permitted part of personal data. If you allow it via bracelet's Touch ID or Voice ID, the agent gets the data and provides service or product. SCIO's database stores query history. SCIO sends notifications of all transactions to your phone.
You can get permission to enter a bar as easy as paying by a credit card. Hold your SCIO next to the certified SCIO receiver. Tap your finger on Touch ID to allow access to queried part of data. That's all. No documents, no PINs. If SCIO's battery is dead, you can grant access by saying the control phrase.
SCIO is designed to deliver convenience to everyday life and bring a novel experience to civilians. It provides an intuitive user environment where civil servants can verify your identity without paper ID documents at hand.
The work was submitted to Red Dot: Design Concept 2019 and passed prejudging.
