I decided to try something a little darker with this portrait and also experiment with a different colour pallet, but I couldn’t decide which to do, so I asked my Instagram followers to choose for me.

At first I didn’t intend on adding in the necklace because it seemed like it might be too difficult, but I pushed myself and i’m glad I did. I think it finishes off the piece nicely. Although, the necklace itself took longer to paint than the actual girl.
