Mama had to undergo a heart surgery at the age of 5. Any visits to the house after that meant people wanting to look at his scar, so after a point he made it a rule to run to the living room and lift up his shirt showing his scar every single time he heard the bell ring. -

Dadun, my grandfather, flicked his cigarette out of the window once and it landed on the porch. Little Piklu was hanging out there and he just had to see for himself what this little roll of burning tobacco was like. He was just about to pick it up and put it in his mouth when Maa noticed this. She chased him with a bat obviously. He never smoked a cigarette. -

Mama had this little wooden plank with four little wooden wheels attached to it that he'd play with. One evening he asked Dadun if he's planning on buying a car. Dadun wanted to know where this was coming from and so he asked him if he needed a car. To this Mama just shook his head and went on to explain his simple plan- once the newly bought car would stop working
