Kitchen Renovation

Here are some photographs documenting the journey from start to finish of my kitchen renovation. When first viewing the property this room was extremely damp and the low ceiling was hiding away all of the structural beams above.

It was very important to keep as much character within the cottage as possible, have a scroll through for more details..

The original kitchen, extremely damp and lacking any character that you would hope to find in a cottage.
The first job was to strip back the walls and get a dry walling system in place.

Next the plasterboard went on and all walls were re-plastered. Really started to take shape a this point.
The original low ceiling was removed these wonderful beams were revealed..
The completed kitchen. Character restored and a perfect balance of different tones and materials to keep the kitchen feeling light and spacious.
Here is one of the images used when featured in Home Style and Good Homes magazine.
