A series of five book covers consisting of vegetarian cookbooks from the 1970’s. All of the authors of the books are women, Laurel Robertson of Laurel’s Kitchen, Mollie Katzen of Moosewood Cookbook, Mary Key Burgess of Soul To Soul, Anna Thomas of The Vegetarian Epicure and Martha Rose Shulman from Fast Vegetarian Feasts.
The paper book jackets have been laser cut, the words GREENS on the front have been removed to reveal the vibrant book cloth underneath. The book cloth for the covers were custom made to reflect vegetarian theme and the aesthetics of the seventies.
