The hollow feeling after encountering death of a relative and a classmate frightened me with the realization that their deaths have no direct impact on my life - still functions normally as if their lives have no significant to me at all. Their death - reduced into some numbers and a name plate striked me with "guilt". This led me to question the value of individuals in this world: what is the value of our existence if our significance can be forgotten easily, and diminished in no time?
