Walden Typeface
Inspired by Henry David Thoreau's book Walden, this typeface designed for screen reading aims to inject an organic quality into the digital environment. With details drawn from handwriting and from natural forms, it invites the reader to slow down and appreciate words as they flow across the screen.
After hand-drawing letters, I scanned and traced my drawings using Robofont, and continued to develop the typeface from there.
