The purpose of this project was to explore the typographic nuances on the printed page through the exploration of a chosen collection. My chosen topic was Nancy Drew. The Nancy Drew books involve mysteries so I decided the collection book should involve some of that mystery as well, as seen in the timeline cards, illustration booklets, and unfoldable page. The cover design of the book references that of a 1950’s Nancy Drew book (blue cover and silhouette of Nancy Drew). The construction and craft of the book were important to the final product.
