First project on Chalmers University of Technology, autumn 2010. The assignment was to develop a smaller shelter (16 square metres) at Bohus Malmön, used by "explorers" visiting the area. My project took an emotion-based aproach, mainly about the contrasts in life which we often forget in our hectic average day. This is shown by to volumes, one caracterised by the warmth of wood and sunlight and the other other a darker, colder and more moist atmosfear in the block of stone. The point is, what you first think of might not be the single answer. The colder and darker "stone-room" (with small holes for light) can on one hand be perceived as hostile and dark, but on the other hand peaceful and encouraging for you to get in touch with your inner self.

Needless to say, the world is not black and white.
