Google Doodle
Scotland is a magic place. I feel honoured to represent and celebrate Scotland with a Google Doodle in the
Fifa Women's World Cup 2019. Many artists have been involved, illustrating how football is celebrated on
their specific team and country. I decided to illustrate the passion, enthusiasm and strength on this country
through a really dynamic composition.
The final composition uses the Glenfinnan Viaduct with the Jacobite Steam train as the wall of the football stadium with the passionate crowd cheering up the players that are surfing the clouds to get to the ball. Two female bagpipe players cheering up with their music, while petals and flowers of heather and thistle fly around from the impact of the main players. At the back, a giant bass drone, inside drone and outside tenor drone from two bagpipes create the clouds. At each side, two players on unicorns holding Scotland's flag.
