2013 Picture of the Week - Week 15
Though the winter was overlong, spring arrived more as an exhale of summer.
Ninety-degree weather hugged the northeast on April 11th. It lingered, making the
evening and subsequent morning very comfortable indeed. An hour before sunrise
there were literally hundreds of camera using folks enjoying the warmth and the
dawn around the Washington, D.C. tidal basin. These two were both photographers
and subjects and they clearly enjoyed the cherry blossoms and each other. It was
that kind of morning.
