I defined a colour palette and a style that I wanted to stick to for the entire series. My goal was to create a cohesive set of letters that worked together but individually remained unique. For backgrounds, I used my own texture photographs that I colourized with gradient maps. Towards the end of the project I needed to run around the city and capture a few more textures to avoid having to reuse a shot from a previous post. I also set out to animate each character with After Effects as extra practise. 

Overall I'm very pleased with my results. This project provided a great opportunity to enhance my knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. It also allowed me to add to my collection of texture photos which I'm sure be useful in future projects. 

I'm already thinking ahead to 2020. Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!
