Cryptids, A multi-media triptych 

Inspired by local legends surrounding mythical creatures, these compositions are made from freehand illustrations, scans of handmade paper, and digital drawings and effects.

Each illustration was done in black ink on bristol board to start out.

Then skeletal forms were done with tracing paper on top of those illustrations.

Then text, burn/dodge, blending modes, and paper scans were added to completion.
