ISTD: LOST / Typographic Publication
'The in-between' aims to inspire, empower and celebrate differences amongst cultures. It encapsulates the transition of feeling lost between different worlds, to a deeper understanding and appreciation of both. As the concept and stories within are quite personal and raw, using only serif fonts represented honesty and sets a warm tone for my project.
The book begins from the back, imitating Eastern culture reading. It is then flipped to the front to continue onto chapter 2, and ends in the middle as both the child and parent comes to a mutual understanding.
